Hello

since installing win XP Pro , i've been playing the windows pinball game
every
day.

it stopped working 3 days ago ! and i can get it going again . Can you help?

when i click onto the game i just get the game logo come on the screen and
then it quits.

maybe it was because i upped my refresh rate from 60 to 75 ........or
because i installed a driver for my monitor. I've since rolled back my
monitor driver to the windows default driver and put my refresh rate back to
60 but the game still does not start up.

the game is not on the windows xp cd when i go to reinstall it. all the
other games are there and they all work fine.

thanks

marco

You don't reinstall the game like you would any other software package.
As it is a Windows "component", you have to do it through the Windows
component dialogue. Go to "Add or Remove Programs" in Control Panel,
click the "Add/Remove Windows Components" button down the left side,
click on "Accessories and Utilities" and then the "Details" button.
Click "Games" and the "Details" button again. Uncheck the pinball game,
click OK to close all the various dialogue boxes and it will uninstall
the game. Then repeat to reinstall. That might solve your problem.

But why would you when the Empire series kicks its butt? Not to
mention the complete VPinMAME set. Play something good and forget the
Microsoft crud.
