Samson StudioDock 3i, 4i

I currently own the Samson StudioDock 3i but I was wondering that does the StudioDock 4i sound any better? Or do they both sound pretty much the same just that the 4i has little more power since it's 40 watts instead of 30 watts of total power?

Right now I have my monitors connected to my PC using USB and it sounds alot better than connecting them using normal headphone jack.

There is not a heck of a lot of difference between 30 and 40 watts. The USB would be the better choice connection.
