P.S. I don't have a dedicated sound card and i don't plan on getting one. I use the onboard audio of my ASUS PQ5 Pro turbo mobo. Question is, is this onboard audio good enough for the 3.5mm jack of the fatality set

which gaming headset?

now i've got my alienware pc, g110 keyboard and deathadder mouse sorted out, i'm looking to replace my old yellowing £24 plantronics headset which sounds as flat as a steam-rollered pancake in bc2...

been looking at these blighters:

PC 350 ~£100
high quality, closed-type with no gimmicks, but not tweaked for surround.

PC 360 G4ME ~£150
expensive, higher quality, open-type for long-usage, but not tweaked for surround.

G35 ~£100
looks cheap, lesser quality, but with 7.1 Surround Sound gimmicks.
http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/speakers_audio/headphones/devices/5095

Megalodon ~£100
looks funky, lesser quality, but with Maelstrom and 7.1 Surround Sound gimmicks.

Or is there something better out there for gaming?

i only want my headset for gaming, so i don't care if it sounds pants for music and video. i just want to hear people before they hear me and have better quality surround sound!
;)
