Hp vs asus

i am purchasing a new laptop for college. im a landscape architecture major and will be running programs like autocad, google sketchup, photoshop, indesign, etc. i have a specs list that and ive settled on 2 computers but one is asus and the other is HP. which is the better brand and which will be able to handle all that software?
