Strange horizontal lines on my LCD

Well, I was just watching a movie on my PC when all of a sudden a strange horizontal line (stretching from left to right, and about 2 inches from the bottom of the screen) appeared on my LG LCD Monitor. At first, it was one...now there are 4 others around it and one more around 2 inches above the first one. The Lines appear white over a black background and black when viewed over a white background. Does anyone have any ideas?
I have to mention that the lines appear even without my LCD plugged to my PC and even when booting up or in BIOS (although sometimes not all the lines show just after turning on the LCD).

something probably wrong with the monitor itself, if the lines are that consistent. If you just bought ur monitor then have it replaced or if ur still under warranty u can probably do the same thing.
