Im having problems removing the stock amd heatsink and fan from my 2100. This is the first time ive ever had to remove a heatsink so i dont want to mess anything up. I cant seem to get the clip off so if anyone who has had some experience doing that could give me some pointers i would greatly appreciate it. THanks!

well, it happens that it always seems like you have to push on the clip harder than you think you should, unless it is catching on something.

Water cooling is for the weak. Get liquid nitrogen.

The long end of the clip, push it downward, then tilt the screwdriver back toward the heatink to get the end of the clip past the little plastic nob, then let it up.

I'd use a 1/4" drive socket screwdriver with a socket attached that just fits over the tab of the clip. Less chance of it slipping off and damaging your mobo.

yeah, basically your' gonna think like your pushing down way to hard, and your gonna think your probley gonna "Crack, or CRUSH" the CPU, this isn't gonna happen, it is just a snug, tight squeeze.

Lay the computer on it's side...

Look at the clip...

See a little pocket, just above the socket edge on the long side of the spring clip. It's there so you can use a screwdriver to lever the clip over the plastic stud on the socket.

Put a small flatblade screwdriver into the pocket... press down, lever toward the fan, release upward and the clip should come off.

If it's the stock cooler it probably has that stupid rubber stuff under it. Turn very gently until it lets go, then lift up to take it off.

There are clear instructions on the AMD web site with pics if you didn't get it.

To err is human... to really screw things up you need a computer!
