Graphics problem on dell inspiron N5110 and the problem is sometimes screen freezes and gives 8 beeps.?
system details:-inspiron N5110,ati graphics card 1gb,4gb ram,i5,15r
problem description:-
1)while playing movie video freezes while the sound from the movie continues for sometimes.
2)on system restart 8 beep code (system has ami bios)
3)when connected to external monitor through projector out the system starts with display only on the external monitor connected.
4)on running the diagnosis the texts displayed are not exact. for ex. (i)ok is displayed as ck or vk,(ii)tere are a lot inverted commas on the some part screen of the external display.
5)on starting the windows in safe mode and using the sytem restore and as the system restore starts terminating the process in between by long pressing of the power button.
on again starting the system the display starts to work and the system works normally for afew days.
can any one tell me is it a graphics card failure or LCD failure or ram problem or hard disk problem?
