New HD->Cant logon. Activation problem??

Hi purchased a new HD to replace the old one.
I cloned the windows installation to the new disc using Ghost.

Once I start windows on the new disc I get to the login dialog.
When I enter password and user it says something like "Unable to
authenticate validation" or something like that and logs me off.
I f I connect the old disc, it works.

Im figuring that the SIDs got screwed up, so I need to generate new ones.

Sysprep can do that, but how do I get Sysprep to point to a different
partition than the one bootet on?
Can I use sysprep from a bootdisc?
