Viewsonic p95f is too green

My nephew just gave me a viewsonic p95f+ i like the sharpness on it but there is too much green.
is it possible to reduce its intensity by opening up the back cover without harming it, shortening its lifespan for example?

I seem to remember tinkering with another monitor a long time ago, it died not long after

Before you even think of opening a monitor (lethal voltages even with power disconnected, build up of dirt due to high static levels) check out the monitor's built-in on-screen controls which may include colour balance.

If not check out, Windows settings.

Failing, that look for a gamma correction program.
