Guys please help

From your desktop pc, go the internet browser and type;

http://192.168.0.1

When prompted for a Username and Password, enter the default username and password (unless you have already changed it).

User name is admin
The password is password

Then click on Wireless settings link on the top left-hand navigation bar.

You can choose a SSID name of your choice, the default is NETGEAR.

Choose the Region, i,e United States

Under Security Options choose WPA-PSK

Then choose a passphrase of your choice, make it abit strong phrase.

Then click Apply.

Now close the the browser.

Now Go to your Laptop and then to Control Panel, then Network and Sharing Center, then select Conect to a network. From the wireless connection list, choose your connection and enter the passphrase. http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/95
