I have a Z990 Kodak camera and am having trouble ownloading my pictures to my computer. Software appears to be running but nothing transfers. Using the USB connection. Any help will be apprierciated

Buy a card reader that has an SD slot and plug into your computer's USB port.
Remove SD card from camera and push it gently into the SD slot on the card reader.
A folder should open containing a sub-folder inside which are your pics.
You can then copy/paste them to the 'Pictures' folder on your PC's hard drive.

This is a lot easier than fumbling with your camera and a cable.

Uninstall the Kodak software, you don't need it when a card-reader is used.
