After working for about 2 months to get this stupid thing to hotsync
and connect with my comptuer i"m about 1/2 there.

I can get the pda and computer to talk to each other and transfer my
word documents and I can see the little graphic and read the words
where it scrolls through syncing everything, but the calendar and
to-do list really don't transfer even though I saw it scroll through.

Any thoughts? I"m living in terror that I'll lose my calendar if/when
the battery runs down............

Even with the conduits set to 'Do Nothing', they scroll by during
Hotsync.

What does the Hotsync log say?

Are the conduits set to "Syncronize"?

Are you using Palm Desktop or Outlook?

Which conduits are installed, Intelisync, Pocketmirror, Palm's?

Is it a PC or a Mac?

What operating system are you using on the PC/Mac?

Have you ever had any 3rd party conduits installed? Some install files
on the Palm that cripples Hotsync with any other conduits.

Here is the support page for your handheld;

It has trouble shooting links.

Ideally get a SD card and backup software, that way your data will be
safe whilst you're trying to sort out the hotsink problem.

I use this sort of thing as an addition to hotsink backup and it gives
me a nice secure feeling to know that I have an SD card sitting at
work with all my data on it.
