Laptop problems

I am haaving problems with a brand new Gateway NV53 ---it takes multiple cold restarts to finally boot up into Windows 7. I have sent it in for repair it came back 3 weeks later and had the same problems. It freezes, wheezes, and sneezes its way to mediocrity. I have tried Gateway Chat, Windows chat, FB chat (why not) and I havent had any luck. Any ideas

Did you try reinstalling the os? I would call Gateway and flip out on them for not fixing the problem, especially if it's brand new.

Thanks im going to call again tomm. I have no disk to reload didnt have one with it. Im fighting with FRy's electronics also they wont take it back because i left town and live too far from their store. My credit card is helping me dispute that. They told me that i could sent it back if i kept the box, but when the time came they refused. It has been a real drag.
