P4 Questions

Hi all. I have been out of the cpu world for awhile and looking on bulidng/massive upgrade over my new cpu. I have the ATI 9500 Pro already. I would assume the p4 is better then any athlon? I honestly don't know, that is why I ask. Second, what board would you recommend for the cpu? I appreciate the help guys.

ok the P4 and athlons are running pretty much equal except at the very top end where intel win. an athlonxp 2400+ on a nForce2 motherboard with dualddr will wipe the floor with most P4 rigs in the same price range. also the tbred B cores oc extremely well for example an atlonxp 1700+ will generally oc to 2700+ levels. thats a 50% oc! just make sure you get the tbred B core. get some good ddr400 ram (2 sticks) and watch it fly (",)
