Photos will not show up when browsing SD card on computer
Last response: in Digital Camera
Camera is a Canon EOS 1000D and memory card is Sandisk ExtremeHD 8GB.
I used to have no issues taking photos, putting the card into my laptop (HP Pavillion dv9000), and dragging them off the card into where I filed them.
Now, suddenly the only way I can do it is with the card in the camera, using the USB cable and the Canon image software. If I use My Computer and the card reader, only about 50 photos from ages ago show up, but none of the new ones.
The photos all show up with no probs on the camera also.
Have I somehow changed something?? And can I change it back?
Any help would be awesome.

I got ur problem.Normally digital cameras make use large sized high resolution images .which are highly volatile .Instead of using the camera software to recover pictures from digital camera u have to use a recovery tool that recovers your missing images but be sure that you have not used the card further for storage purpose.To recover pictures from digital camera i recommend this tool as it gave me a good result on the same problem in canon power shot SD880. You can get it here
