Hi,
I have a TOSHIBA Satellite L30 and i was using it on battery power. Then the battery level reached 7% and it automatically shutdown. Then I just booted it up again and then my battery level reached 1%. And now my laptop has been running at 1% for like 30 minutes now! Can someone please tell me what is happening? My laptop also kept giving me messages that there is a problem with my laptop and I should change the battery! Please explain to me what is happening. And should i use it at 1%?

My laptop specs:
TOSHIBA Satellite L30
Intel Celeron M 1.60 GHz
1 GB RAM
ATI Radeon 200M Series, 384 MB
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium

Many batteries have calibration routines and if ya don't let em just run dead once and a while, they don't recalibrate the power meter. My laptop manual suggest letting it run dead once every month or so. I do it once a quarter (3 months)
