Why is my camera memory card telling me there are no photos

My camera says there are no files on card but when i put in computer it shows the pictures that were on from before, what's wrong?

Save the pictures that your computer can see on the card if you've haven't already saved them.

Now re-format the card inside the camera using the camera's menu system.
If the card gives you any more trouble, throw it away and buy a new card.
