AMD to release 400 FSB in 3rd quarter. What will Intel have out by then?

Intel will have 800 FSB when they release Prescott. When Tejas hits the market. I think in 2004 don't no time frame. It will go to 1.2 gig on FSB

He may think it's quadruple data rate but I don't think that would make much sense b/c double data rate simply uses both the up and down clock to increase the ammount of data pushed through for a given clock speed. Maybe there is a way to send 2 pieces of data per up/down of the clock but I haven't heard of it.

it is possible. thats how 8xagp works. thats how ddr2 works i believe
