I'm in a position where I need to determine what the power requirements will be for about 45 PC's and 5 Quad Servers.
The monitors all have power requirements on the back such as 100-240 Volts, 1.7-.9 Amps but the PC's and Servers don't have any such information provided. I've tried to find this at the manufactures website (mostly Dell) but have be unsuccessful. Is there a rule of thumb a person can refer to when determining what the power load will be on a particular machine?
Thanks for any info.
Here's a VERY rough guide: <A HREF="http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/20021021/powersupplies-02.html" target="_new">http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/20021021/powersupplies-02.html</A>
There are bettter guides than this, this is just one that I happened to know offhand.

Go here & do the math. It also tells you the general amps that are drawn & gives links.
