How to discharge the battery with resistors

I have a battery 3.7V i want to discharge it for testing , i dont no how to discharge please help me out...

Your question kind of answers itself. You would short the terminals of the battery with a resistor. The actual resistance value is less important than the wattage. I doubt you battery has a lot of current so 1-5 watt would be plenty.
