How to turn off hp printer replace ink cartridge?

I only want to use my printer to print black. How can I by-pass the empty color cartridges?

This is the wrong forum, but I will help.
you can't "turn off" the printer needing the cartridges. You will have to purchase the needed carts. Even if you only print in black and white it will still ask you to replace the empty carts.
