When I looked it up in IPDB, it shows this MPU was used in 61 different
games, so I'm hoping it will be an easy find. Anyone have a tested working
one of these for sale? If so, please shoot me an email with your price, and
shipping to the Chicago area (zip 60203). Thanks,

Hey Joe;

They are easy to find, but equally easy to overpay on. Always keep in mind
the gae of these orginals often make then a bit flakey anyway. I actually
got sick of buying these MPUs and switched over to the Altech (sp?) a while
back and truly love these boards. They are about $200 but they work and keep
on working. Do yourself a favor, sell your old one on Ebay and put the money
towards buying a new Allteck. You'll be much hapier in the end, especially
if you are planning to keep your game for years.

Mike

-35 MPUs are quite common, as is one that is badly damaged from a leaky
battery. :)

You will find one, but just be careful around the battery area.

If you are able to fix the -35 yourself, there's no need to buy a
replacement CPU board. If you are not good at soldering and
troubleshooting, get the replacement.

Once the battery is removed and replaced with a remote pack, the -35 is
very reliable and will work for years.

I tried replying to you but your email bounced. I'd rather not post it
publically. Can you send me an email address that works? Thanks,

Joe

I have a Bally's Motordome (1986), can you tell me if the MPU AS-2518-35 is used in Motordome. It's a 6803 CPU module. the only part number I can find begins with A080-91786-G000, that's what the repair manual describes as the part number.

I have all the correct voltages @ the CPU board, but it will not pass the startup/ initialize sequence. the Green LED on the CPU is suppose to blink 9 times for Motordome before it will startup. The LED never blinks at all. Am I in the right place to suspect the MPU module?

Thanks Very Much

Frank
