Cant install With Disc

I purchased a new copy of windows 7 home pre full version
I reboot the computer with the disc in and it looks like it is booting up get the windows 7 background and just sits there. you can move the arrow around the screen but no install menu ever pops up. I tested the disk on my wifes comp works fine, does the exact same things except the menu comes up. I have no idea what to do now?

Is your computer's optical disk drive is too old? Slow pc i guess.

just changed out the drive with my wifes same result,

Is your pc is old? Is there any problem before in your pc?

Would help to post your PC specs... and was it working with XP/vista before? What exact screen do you get to?
