Laptop buying advice

Looking for some advice on a suitable portable something or other.

1_Less than $500, the cheaper the better.

2_Any screen size is suitable.

3_Any resolution.

4_This is not replacing anything, just for me to use at work and on the go.

5_I can't imagine needing long periods of time without charging the battery, so battery life is of no concern.

6_Games: Primarily World of Warcraft with low to mid settings. Not looking for anything dynamic. Web games.

7_Other tasks: online video, email. Basic stuff.

8_Storage: probably anything over 50gb is sufficient.

9_No specific sites in mind.

10_How long do I want to keep your laptop? Till it dies.

11_Optical drive is completely unnecessary.

12_Brands? Who needs brands?

13_I'm in the States.
