The official said the iPhone 5 is longer, faster and lighter than the iPhone 4S.
Yeaa that hit the nail on the head.
As expected, the new iPhone is 18 percent thinner (0.30 inch vs. 0.37 inch thick) than the iPhone 4S. Apple says it's the thinnest handset around, but that's a race that changes often. That means it's also 20 percent lighter for a total of 3.95 ounces. The Retina Display expands from 3.5 inches (its size since the original iPhone) to 4 inches. The total resolution remains the same, though, at 326 pixels per inch. The total pixel count is 1,136x640, and we now have a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Its also 2x faster loading webpages and 1x faster loading the music app.
Yes, iPhone 5 is considered as one of the best, lighter and thinner smart mobile phones offered by Apple. In comparison to iPhone 4S, there are many new and advanced features have added in iPhone 5. In addition, major changes are seen on device screen, 4G LTE, Camera and also on Battery life. Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 are the leading smart phones on the entire mobile industry. Well, for starters, iphone 5 has a different charging port so you'd have to buy new accs if you had an oolder iphone. Second of all, it's basically the same thing, but supposedly faster. I REALLY haven't noticed a difference at all though.
I think this is all a bunch of crap! There isn't really much of a difference, except for the new look. If you want something that's going to stand the test of time and wear and tear, stick with the 4 or 4S.
The iPhone 5 runs on a faster network (depending on carrier) known as LTE which in my opinion is crazy fast. Much faster than 3G network. It also has a better megapixel camera, longer screen, more sensitive to touch, and more durable than the 4s, meaning it doesn't shatter to pieces when you drop it.
