ASUS MT276HE 27" is this lcd worth the price for what i need

ive been looking into purchasing a monitor for my pc build. i will be using an hd 5870 asus. and ive been looking at this lcd monitor ASUS MT276HE Black 27" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 ASCR 50000:1 - Retail

i will be using it for gaming on the total war series, and possibly playing some call of duty modern warfare 2. i also transcode videos from avi/mkv to dvd using convertxtodvd and about twice a month i make a slideshow using proshow gold. im wondering if this lcd is worth the price/size/performance/usage that i will be needing

hmm noone answered.... i only found this cause im looking for some reviews of this monitor but yes its supposed to be one of the best/highest quality 1080p monitors out there, and has a nice 2m/s response time

If you buy this you won't be sorry. I paid $379.00 and they have it online now for $312.00
I'm thinking about getting it for my wife now. It is crystal clear. Me and my wife wear reading glasses
but with this monitor you don't need any. She has the hp 2207h and it looks blurry compared to this one.
