I have had a 10GB iPOD working fine on my XP sp2 box for a while.
(using USB 2.0)
I introduced a Simpletech 120GB USB 2.0/firewire hard drive, and when I
installed that, it disabled the iPOD.
First it stole the drive letter (G:)

so I removed the iPOD, and re-installed the hard drive. I then changed
the drive to like Z or S. I can't plug the iPOD in after this drive is
in use. IT doesn't get recognized. If I 'safely' remove the hard drive,
then the PC recognizes the iPOD. As soon as I plug the hard drive in
after this, it kills the iPOD (and they are using different logical
drive letters at this point)

any help would be greatly appreciated.
