I have read that nforce boards unlock XP processors. I have tried changing the multiplier with no result. WCPUID reads the multiplier as 15 regardless of what I set it at in the bios. What's up with this??

Ive only heard that the epox 8rda unlocks the tbred cpus as almost all the reviews ive seen of this board (nforce 2) they all state the cpu is unlocked, even the new bartons... Im not sure about the other boards, i know that abit has some probs.... Or maybe you just got a dodgy cpu?

Hi,

You have to do the "wire trick". I dont have the link anymore, search for it.

Its very easy, take a couple minutes... Currently Im at 200fsbX11 multipler, putting me at 2.2ghz. Youll need some good cpu cooling though.
