Canterwood 14 April.
A quick search on Pricewatch for pre-ordering a P4 3.06Ghz with an 800MHz FSB indicates "Scheduled release April 21st". So I guess Intel is releasing the 800MHz FSB CPUs to run on Canterwood a week after the release of Canterwood? **LOL**

Very strange... 3.06Ghz, 800Mhz FSB? The math doesn´t add up... 4x200Mhz FSB, and a multiplier of... 15? That´d be 3.00Ghz, not 3.06Ghz...

But the good news is that, if that´s right, it´ll only cost around $500, not the usual top-of-the-line $600 (that´ll probably be the 3.2Ghz... ? )

no, of course the 3.0GHz P4 with a 800MHz FSB still has 512kb L2. That won't change until the Prescott is released which offers 1mb of L2 cache.

According to the DigiTimes newsletter I got today, there seems to be a confirmed release-date of May the 21st. That's also seemingly the day when Intel will release 2.4-2.8 GHz CPU's on 800 FSB, probably with HT. Finally, May 21st seems to be the day for releasing Springdale as well.
