Hp photsmart 3210 no scanner

photosmart 3210. software seems okay. The light bar that crosses glass does not move. I can print a test page and photos from card and print from computer. We might have tipped it when moving it from the room. Any help.

Yeah, most scanners have a locking mechanism for when you move it. The risk is that the sensor/light bar moves out of its guides -- as appears to be the case here.

See if a repair shop can help -- but I wouldn't spend too much on repair as buying a separate scanner may cost less (look at Canon models which can be stored upright if you are concerned with footprint).
