When I try to install Thrones and Patriots (Over Rise of
Nations which is running just fine), I get an error
saying "Invalid Patch File Error" followed by "Retcode
Positive - 32769". I can dismiss the error and the
expansion pack installs, but it locks up every time I
start it an try to play...to include tutorials which run
fine in Rise of Nations. Any ideas what these errors are
or how to get the expansion loaded? I am running XP Home
Edition with a GeoForce nVidia card with 128 MB RAM....

....and I tried using the msconfig utility as described in
the single Microsoft Knowledge Base article related to
this bug. With everything turned off, I get the same
errors when trying to install Thrones and Patriots and
the game locks up almost immediately after starting. My
video drivers are up-to-date.
