can a omnidirectional Antenna be connected to the router
and if so which ones and how. I have a PC that is roughly
130' away and has a very weak signal
THANKS

Dear Ray,
My suggestion is go the other way. Attach a directional
antenna to the PC. D-Link makes excellent PCI and
notebook adapters that allow external directional
antennae.

Thanks, I was just looking on D-Linkis web site, but
hadn't thought about switching things around. Thanks again.

The antennas in the MN-700 are both omnidirectional (it has one inside
the unit as well as the one on the outside). The other option is to get
something that will make it directional by reflecting the radio waves in
the direction of your choice (A pringles can works rather well for this
application). Kind of like how a satellite signal is set via a
directional antenna.
