Advent A51BCSB09 5.1 speakers won't work!

Hello, I have quite recently bought some Advent 5.1 speakers and when i bought them they worked perfectly fine but now all of a sudden i need to attach every input cable to my laptop etc. It has three input cables all of them 3.5mm audio jacks one is GREEN, another is BLACK and the last is ORANGE.
GREEN= FRONT
BLACK= SURROUND
ORANGE= CENTRE + SUB
All these work independently.
So if anyone has a solution please let me know thank you!! XX

Everything should plug into the sub. And then the sub plugs into your laptop. If it does not work when you plug the cables into the sub, then the conclusion would be that the subs circuits are bad. You might try and call on a warranty issue.Yeah that's the thing, i have unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it still wont work! Also i am not sure if i can get it fixed under warranty because i have lost the receipt and I'm pretty sure the store wont take it back without it.
Any other ideas please! :s
