My computer freezes automatically and monitor goes blank

hii,
my computer freezes randomly mostly when i use internet and monitor goes blank...
the only thing i could do is to turn off the switch and on...
i use chrome browser..
firstly i thought i was some software problem and i formatted my system with windows 7 home basic still it freezes and goes blank..!

guys any solutions please??

Hello.
If i had your problem here are the steps that i take.
1. Check Hdd for bad sectors.
2. Check RAM.
3.Check your ram and hdd on other pc if possible
4.Check motherboard and remove everything from it for example VGA ,Ethernet, and all extra thingis.
