Which computer should I got with? $1000 price range

Hey I'm wanting to buy a desktop computer

so I got about $1000 to spend, I cant find any good place to buy the parts, I'm finding some flyer deals, which when I went to sites like new egg, the store has it at about $700, new egg has the parts for $1200 total. So here are 2 desktops I'm looking at -

Intel -

$900
3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3770 processor 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.90 GHz
12GB DDR3 SDRAM AT 1600MHZ-2x2GB + 2x4GB
NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 1GB GDDR5
2TB SATA 6Gb/s,7200RPM

and

$700
AMD-Six core FX6100 Processor
8GB ram
2TB HDD
AMD Radeon HD7570 1GB Video card

Let me know what I should do, I want to play games max graphics at a good frame rate. It seems EVERYONE is split. some say the intel is better, some say the AMD is better, some say those would be beast, some say those are garbage. So let me know, thanks!

Indeed, ILoveTomsHardware's setup is better. If you want to be gaming, the AMD Radeon 7570 isn't good. The GeForce GT 640 isn't great either, but its definitely a step up.

Hey Codstir - I work for Dell and I think you may want to check out our XPS 8500 model. It's configurable with up to a
AMD Radeon™ HD 7770 2GB GDDR5 for just under one thousand dollars. A 3rd gen i7 is part of the package too.
