HP PAVILION DV2116WM TROUBLSHOOTING POWERS ON NO DISPLAY

I HAVE A HP PAVILION DV2116WM. IT POWERS ON BUT NO DISPLAY. I TRIED EXTERNAL MONITOR ALSO NO DISPLAY. THE DVD DRIVE RUNS AND WIRELESS LIGHT IS ORANGE. THE OTHER THREE LIGHTS ARE BLUE. THE KEYBOARD LIGHTS ARE NOT ON.

Are you sure you setup the external monitor properly and used the function key to move the display to it? If yes, you may need a new motherboard.

You can try to remove the battery, unplug it from wall power, and hold down the power button for 30 seconds, then turn it on, see what happens.
