Reboot and Select proper Boot Device Issue

Hey all,

I just finished a build and I'm trying to install Windows 7 onto the SSD, (theres and ssd, an hdd, and then the odd is a DVD drive). the screen only shows "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot device and press a key". The cd for the OS is in the computer.

Ive checked BIOS and boot option 1 is the DVD RW and the boot option 2 is the SSD.

I cannot get rid of this screen.

Install with just your ssd attached,then attach the hdd later.

i still can't get the screen off. is it correct to put the os in first?
