The CD burner wizard will not work on my XP SP2 Dell Insprion 9300.
When I drag files to the burner drive then choose Write These Files to
CD from the menu the wizard always shows that there is no disc in the
drive.

Have no problem burning CDs and DVDs with Nero or other programs. Why
will Windows not burn a CD?

Is InCD or any other packet writing progam installed and running in the
background? If so, you may need to disable it. Also check that cd burning
is enabled for that drive by right clicking on it inside of My Computer and
clicking properties, then going to the recording tab.

Hmmm, maybe because it and the "programs" MickeyMouse chose to bundle with
it are brain-dead?
