[PC] Looking for a new Sound System - max 300€ (381$)

Hi

To keep it short: Im looking for a new Soundsystem for my PC.
Budget: max 300€

This is my current Hardware:
Soundcard: Creative Soundblaster Audigy (got 4 outputs)
Motherboard: GigaByte P55A-UD3
At the moment I own and use as speakers the mini-HiFi Station Sony MHC-RG121

But these are seriously getting in their years (6-8 years old) and now it's the time for a replacement!

Since i want to spend a maximum of 300€ im quite limited i assume. Another problem is that i can't decide whether I should buy a 2.1 or a 5.1 System.
I'll mainly use the system to listen to some music when my parents aren't at home When im playing games im usually using my headset (Sennheiser).

So what are your recommendations?

Or should i rather buy a Hifi System with a Receiver, 2 Speakers and a Suwbwoofer?
To be honest i would rather like to have a HiFi System but I have less than zero technical know-how regarding HiFi Systems =P

teufel makes nice speakers from pc to hifi. you could try razer mako, dunno which ones more expensive.

if ur gonna buy recevier and passive speakers, then i dont think youll be able to buy a subwoofer as well, unless u increase your budget significantly.
