A Question on Faxing

Hey I have a Canon MX320 series Printer and I was wondering, If you need a dedicated phone line for the fax, or if you could "Borrow" your house phone line for awhile (Or just long enough to fax something)? I also have Charter Home Phone so I don't know if that helps any but either way.

If you have ADSL broadband you should have no problem as it can support two users -- broadband and voice simultaneously,

Make sure you plug the fax machine into the filter (as per a phone).

If you have cable internet it should also work - but I don't use cable so I can't be specific.

No you don't need a dedicated line for fax especially if you don't receive fax regularly. You can just plug it whenever you need to send or receive one.
