This entire thread seems completely negative towards him and I am 90% the cause of it, everything he said was not wrong, he said a lot of right and good things here, the points I made toward him were of a small percentage of what he said here, and I have formally apoligized to him for correcting him here, I am a Christian I make mistakes myself, and sometimes I would be the last one on the face of the planet to correct someone in these forums, so Aubbie maybe its a good thing you posted the links after all!

Hey, I stand behind the comments I made. Most of what I said was correct as well as being well thought out. I'm not saying the ones I made in anger to someone else’s nastiness or my own were 100% right but I made em. Sometimes one can be right but be so ugly about it that by the time all is said and done they are wrong. (Ever had a fight with your girlfriend for example?) There are many problems with on-line communication. People can be ugly to someone without reprisal, people can be interpreted as writing something ugly when they didn't intend it that way, there is a time delay, the people communicating can't look each other in the eye, hear tone, inflection, etc. There came a point in time on that big thread some of my "fan club" is referring to that I was replying to things 5-10 or even more pages back. Then before I'd even get that done someone would be accusing me off not replying or replying to my new thread. For instance on a lark I just happened to post this last night/this morning. I was cleaning some shortcuts off my desktop and clicked on this thread tonight and there are 3 pages of it. Not that there is anything here to reply to just making the point.

I found this forum largely helpful to a lot of newbie questions I had about putting together a new system and fixing up an old one last spring. Only a couple of nasty people goaded me simply because I professed to be a Christian or said some things to that effect. One such example was when I was looking into 9800pro video cards and was talking the HIS ice-q platinum card up. Tom's gave it an editor's choice and in researching it I found out they profess to be a Christian run company. One of these scoffers along the way wrote something about going over to “other” and making a post there because I guess he knew what kind of nasty people would reply.

So there I bebopped along and got into that thread. Frankly it provoked a lot of thought in me. It served to strengthen my convictions and to see how brainwashed, wicked and corrupt this society is. See the difference between myself and some of those guys is I allow people the space to have an opinion. I believe with all my heart that JESUS CHRIST is the one and only way. I certainly don’t have everything figured out but I know that much. The problem in this society start early and run so deep that it would require a book of some length to even begin to address. Maybe I’ll write it some day. That thread gave me some good ideas of what the enemy looks like though. We are so used to lies in this society people make jumps in logic and intent that are miles away from what the original speaker intended or even stated. I guess we got that from the politicians and the media.

As far as Ryan goes: He and Crashes replies were the only two that really hit me deeply because I respect both of them. I didn’t mind all the other piss-ants being on the bandwagon but when they jumped on it …even the slightest bit it did get to me. I think Ryan is a great guy. There was a point where the whole thing got too danged messy and I probably should have bowed out and let him attempt to salvage what I had broken. Ryan and Crash are both great, helpful people and I consider them friends.

As for those of you that dislike me. Take a long look at yourself and see if you can figure out exactly why. Forget about the misinformation, the spin, the bandwagon and take a good hard look at yourself. Maybe you’ll find the answer and maybe I’ll surprise you. I’m no preacher but I’m certainly no “hellspawn” either.
