Windows ME on Laptops

Last response: in Laptops & Notebooks

I have an old Atlas Flyer 3400, with the maximum 512m of memory. It runs Windows ME which is no longer supported by Microsoft. Can I upgrade the operating system, and if so, to what and where can I obtain the software at reasonable cost?

Many thanks for any suggestions.

Welcome to the forums!

Your laptop is technically capable of running Windows XP but that will cost you at least $110.
TBH, with a laptop that old you would probably be better off running the free Ubuntu or another small footprint Linux OS.

Agreed, depending on what you use that laptop for, Ubuntu is an excellent option.
