for anyone looking at buying a new system, there's an auction going on at http://hypothermia.gamershardware.com/auction/auction1.html. lots of sites have donated hardware, and the systems are up for bidding. the money goes toward helping blind people by getting them seeing-eye dogs -

This is a subject near and dear to my heart, my own mother is blind and has benefited greatly over the years from the assistance provided by the Lions Club. The Lions Club is responsible for many programs for the vision impaired, one such program is providing transportation and lodging for the blind to the National Leader Dog School in Michigan.

We have put together six complete systems to be auctioned off to benefit the Lions Club in hopes of raising enough money to send at least two candidates to leader dog school and be matched with a guide dog which will help these people lead a more productive, independent lives. Although leader dogs are provided to blind individuals at no cost to them, what many people do not realize is the fact that transportation to and from Michigan as well as lodging must be paid for by the individual receiving the companion dog. This is where the Lions Club comes in, and where we are trying to help our local Lions Club.

they're high end systems, and watercooled by danger den, check em out, or spread the word!
