Check your disk space. Some Me installations tend to use
all the space on C: to store System Restore information.
If your space is low, you will need specific instructions
on how to free this disk space up.
If you are fine on disk space, then try a few things to
stop utilities, programs, and services from starting
automatically when windows starts.
In Start->Run, type msconfig, which is a nice tool for
disabling items for debugging purposes.
If those disables dont work, then you may have to
carefully RegEdit the "Run" settings to stop a few things
from starting. Obviously, be careful editing the registry.
If that doesn't do the trick, then try posting again with
more information about troubleshooting steps, what
software you have running, to see if anything in your
problem or troubleshooting description rings a bell with
someone.
