TECH: Sys 1 Power Supply Insulators

Disassembled a System 1 power supply, and, as usual, didn't pay enough
attention to the order of the insulators, washers, nuts, etc.
Reassembled and immediatley blew a fuse and am pretty sure I fried
diodes C3 & C4. So, obviously, somethings shorted. Can somebody tell me
the order or point me to a schematic? Thanks.

Thanks, Jim. How about the insulator that goes on the bolt that secures
the transistor and regulator at either end of the board? Does it go
under the head or nut of the bolt? I think its the head, but not
positive.

The insulator goes between the 3-legged parts and the heat sink. The metal
back of the 3-legged parts cannot touch the heatsink.

The insulator goes under the screw head on the back side of the power
supply's heat sink.

Check out the Marvin3m.com page

There are some schematics you can use.
Follow the lead for the powersupply.
This goes for system 1 as for system 80 powersupply.
