Green tint for hp 8450

All of a sudden from not using my hp 8450 for about a year when I tried to print vacation pictures all of them came out with a green tint overlay on top. I've change all three cartridges, but someone told me that they made be old or expired. I'm going to purchase some more cartridges even though I don't think thats the problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem and or familiar with this problem and how to fix it. Great appreciated.

One of the cartridges is not functioning (dried out?) - probably the red.

i must agree with fihart

replace only HP95 tricolor cartridge. this should solve the problem
