Need Installation Information

I already have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit installed on a standard SATA Drive. I wanted to buy a new SSD and make it the boot drive but I am worried that if I do, I will not be able to install it onto the SSD and activate it since I bought the system builders version. Is it possible since they are going in the same computer?

Most HDD manufactures have software to clone their drives what sata drive is in there now? Check out the manufactures website. Also you can do a backup in windows and create a system image. I would do both.
