stock athlon hsf speed

what is the stock rpm for the fan on a boxed hsf cause over the last few days my cpu temps have jumped over 10C and i think the fan might be dieing

Some are 4700 some are 6000.

If your temps have jumped 10c, it's not likely to be just a dying fan, unless it's practically stalled.... You've probably also got a heatsink full of dust or a bad contact between CPU and cooler.

You could also have some case fans failing, and not drawing the air through the case efficiently.
