I was home yesterday, when my sister yelled at me to come into her room because her computer wasn’t working. It would boot into XP and then crash, so my first thought is "hmmm, heatsink." but wait, P4 heatsinks are locked in there tight, right?
So I move the case a bit, just to see if all her cables are plugged in right and all that, when I hear this rattling sound...
Hmmmm I said, and when I open her case what do you think I see? The heatsink, lying on the bottom of the case!
It turns out that she had moved the computer around a little, nothing big, no drops or jarring impacts. And I had just put in some more memory last week, and saw the heatsink properly put in.
hmmmmm
Let's see, 500 posts a day, each day, for 30 days, and I will have more posts than Crashman!
...Teq has supposedly dealt with 200 systems, 150 of which were Intel-based and 50 AMD-based. His numbers and his experience is statistically more relevant than your problem there, so take it easy... Sh*t happens...
I think what he means is that ppl who say Intel are the best because they're perfect CPU and never drop and AMD is [-peep-], need to wake up and see that both can have problem and both are godd CPU
Hate to break the news to you, but contrary to popular belief, even INTEL systems break down. Yup, believe it or not!
Hey look! If I kick (*kick kick*) my computer case (*kick kick*) hard (*kick kick*) enough (*kick kick*), the HSF pops off of my Intel processor!
Oh crap, thats not my Intel processor....!!!
Computer fans are really cooling fans for the user. When they run, the user is cool, but whenever they break, the user starts sweating!!

Yeah, so, you had a problem... fix it and carry on.
What I'm wondering is why you think this warrants a subject line challenge to me on a BBS that is supposed to be about technical issues. I mean really, this is getting way beyond stupid.
I had to built a P4 system for my brother recently; compared to the hassle of fitting my XP2100+, installing the P4 chip (heat spreader.. woo!) and heat sink (black clippy/cradle thing.. woo!) was a breeze.
Fortunately, I don't rely on comp building skills for income (yet). However, it is bloody obvious why Teq (and other like him) get less problems with P4s.
i agree. I hope the moderator will delete this post as it isn't releivent to anything. Just stupid nonsense.
So to prove a point you posted your own stupid nonsense? I guess you're hoping that a moderator will delete that too.

i didn't attack anyone or try to shove something in someones face. Not to mention my post was relivent based on CPU's. The other one was infact pointless but again, i didn't attack anyone or try to prove anything.
The pointless post was all in good fun his post was nonsense.
Women defines the word irrational!

<sarcasm>I'm sure that you'll have absolutely no difficulty convincing any women of that.</sarcasm>

Really? Pray tell me what this post, the contents of which are:

I'm so glad you cleared it up that you're always right and it's just all of the women in the world that are wrong. If, as you say, the definition of irrational is women, then you must be a woman because so far you have been anything but rational.
