Guys, I have a problem not being able to access my ftp via my network places unless I disable Norton IS.

How do I get around this within the program. What is it that I have to change?

Figured it out. Some [-peep-] head (probably me) blocked explorer.

How effective do you find IS' firewall?

I have the wireless router's firewall, so I'm wondering how much worth is there in getting IS.

i cant get it to work correctly. i tried using it by manually entering email addys i want blocked, but i still get some emails.

It says the engine needs to be trained and over time understands more what to block. You got the 2005 one?

I couldn't get it to work previously because for some reason it just blocked my internet access and all internet access software gave "no connection" errors.

I'll put it again soon as my subscription's already been activated. :eek:

yeah ill look at it again i guess. i kinda gave it up after awhile, but i guess ill try it again, i really do need to figure it out, just been really busy with family issues lately my computer is feeling a little lack of love... :frown: but things are clearing up alittle i think, so maybe BigDaddy can get some love this weekend.
